What a day of walking, wandering, rerouting, decisions, and destinations! We started the day with dim sum with my Aunt and Uncle and then headed to the MTR station to do some traveling on our own. Running on my previous HK map knowledge and locations, we managed to ourselves to quite a few places.

First stop from Fanling station (where my relatives live) was to Tsim Tsai Tsui's (TST) Avenue of Stars. Well, hello hand prints of famous Hong Kong's celebrities, and of course it wouldn't be a "Chinese" Avenue of Stars without the likes of Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Bruce Li and Chow Yung Fat.

We then wandered along the harbor and saw the HK space museum, museum of art, and the cultural center where we bumped into an inflated display of the zodiac animals. After exploring the sights and sounds of the TST touristy area and some stores along the blocks, we were famished and trained our way to Kowloon station to eat a cheap, yet satisfying ~$4.5 Cad lunch at Fairwood cafe in a high end, super clean and spacious mall known as Elements. We didn't think too much into the name at first, but it was pretty sweet as we realized each section of the mall was named after an element: fire, water, earth, and wood.

After a quick stroll at the mall which included lots of western stores, we decided on doing some spontaneous boutique street shopping over going to a garden that was quite far, and perhaps not worth our trip and landed in Jordan station after deciding to take a ride on one of those 20 seater ish buses (your actually advised to wear a seat belt, no standing allowed on these ones!).

Finished the day with a pair of flats, a belt and anticipating for more shopping to come tomorrow.

Due to the lack of sleep from last night, my eyes and legs and body totally crashed onto the bed after dinner. A somewhat exhausting and eventful day.
